As you have probably guessed. I love everything Disney\u2026.apart from the price tag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have recently become Disneyland Paris Annual Passholders. This can be really economical if you plan on going more than once in a year. As we can still visit during term time, we opted for the cheapest Bronze One pass but a downfall of this is that you cannot park hop. Though a price I am willing to pay to save \u00a3100 per pass!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I always feel more relaxed with annual passes or passes \u2018included\u2019 in a package as I don\u2019t feel like I have to spend every hour of the day in the park. Like I have said about Disneyworld, it is best not to try and cram in too much in one day with toddlers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the words of Scar – \u201cBe Prepared\u201d that you may not get to do every ride or attraction you want to. Plan for shorter days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are staying at a Disney resort I suggest going back to your accommodation for breaks or nap times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disney parks are so overwhelming that little people, and parents for that matter, just cannot physically or emotionally cope with a whole day in the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I find free time so important to keep your toddlers, and yourself, sane. Make sure you make time in the day for your children to just be. It may seem like a waste of time in the most magical (and expensive) place but it will be worth it, trust me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I explain more about free play<\/a><\/mark> in my top tips below and signpost in my park descriptions where you can take your toddlers for some unstructured time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to get to Disneyland Paris with toddlers<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

We live in Kent, so it is really easy for us to get over to France. We have tried most ways with our toddlers: the ferry<\/a>, Eurotunnel and Eurostar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have not yet flown to Disneyland as we are so close to Dover. I just think if there is an alternative option to flying with toddlers<\/a> I always opt for that. Like when one path floor is full of Lego pieces, I tend to find an alternative route. Yet, I do hear the metro from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is super convenient, cheap and quick!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since Eurostar have stopped going direct to Disneyland, it can be a bit of a pain \u2013 especially with toddlers. If you do chose this route: go via Lille \u2013 not Paris. Although the Paris metro is really cheap and easy to navigate, they have no lifts. Imagine this with a baby, toddlers, pram and luggage? pas amusant! And yes, we did find this out the hard way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lille route may be slightly more expensive but you can reserve seats, there are lifts, and it has a little playground to keep your toddlers occupied during waiting times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eurotunnel is the quickest route, but it does mean children being in the car for longer. Our daughter has actually got travel sick a couple of times on the tunnel too\u2026 or is that sea sick? If you do chose the tunnel, I definitely suggest picking a time that the little ones will be asleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favourite way to get to Disneyland with toddlers is the ferry crossing with toddlers<\/a>. This is<\/em> the longest. But if you have time to spare, I believe it to be the most kid-friendly and <\/em>usually the cheapest! Win-win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every ferry company we have travelled with has had a play area for children to burn off some energy, which is super helpful for the long drive ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have always found the drive<\/mark> fine.<\/em> It is a 3-4 hour drive from Calais with toddlers<\/a> so I wouldn\u2019t choose it as a hobby but we have never had any dramas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When to visit Disneyland Paris with toddlers<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

There are<\/em> benefits to having toddlers\u2026 I promise <\/em>there are. Yes – Unconditional love -blah de blah\u2026 BUT what about free <\/em>tickets to Disneyland? That\u2019s right, children under three get into Disneyland for free!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plus I have found hotels, transport and adult park tickets so<\/em> much cheaper during term time. Let alone the shorter queues, win-win!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of our favourite trips to Disneyland Paris was when I was pregnant with my son and my daughter was around 18 months old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this isn\u2019t just <\/em>because I had full control of where my feral son was at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike Disneyworld, Disneyland still offer the \u2018Bambi wristband\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is basically a free wristband for pregnant guests allowing you to by-pass the ride queues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must have your MAT B1 form: Maternity Exemption Certificate and queue at City Hall or your hotel reception to receive it.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Although I advocate going to Disneyland during term time for cheaper prices and shorter queues, I do love <\/em>Disneyland Paris at Christmas. As France gets cold, there is something just so magical being here for the festive period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have an upcoming trip planned in November 2026 so I will give a full report on Disneyland Paris and Christmas on our return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Christmas season tends to start early at Disneyland, early to mid-November, so it is still possible to get the magic of Christmas during the quieter and cheaper term time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have created tips on keeping little ones warm<\/a> and an editable winter packing list<\/a> for toddlers which is helpful when planning a winter trip to Disneyland Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cheapest and quietest time to go is once the Christmas period ends and before the Easter Holidays. My Birthday is in March and it is one of my favourite times to go as the parks are much quieter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have also enjoyed later Spring to early Summer when the temperatures are warmer but not too warm for the little ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything is nicer when the sun is shining, even toddler tantrums, but check for France and Belgium school holidays as they tend to be earlier than England. Try to avoid these as the parks will be considerably busier and accommodation is more expensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

France can also get really warm so be prepared to keep your little ones comfortable in the heat.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another thing to note is Paris Schools usually have half days on Wednesdays so, if you can, avoid these and weekends as the parks are noticeably busier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where to stay at Disneyland Paris with toddlers<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

We have done every version of a Disneyland Paris trip you can think of: A day trip, staying on site, staying off site, staying hours away but still in France, staying in a motorhome in the car park. It all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know, I know, I am<\/em> looking into Disneyholics Anonymous meetings – they just keep clashing with my upcoming Disney trips!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For years, I had this misconception that to stay in a Disneyland hotel I would have to remortgage or sell a kidney! However, I have often found booking a package direct through Disney one of the most cost-effective options. This could possibly be because we are still visiting during term time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another cheap option is an off-site hotel like Explorers Hotel or Dream Castle<\/mark> with fantastic theming and kid-friendly facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I usually opt for self-catering accommodation with toddlers. So an apartment with a kitchenette (such as Staycity aparthotels) or an independently owned Airbnb is always a good option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, all off-site options, mean taking a shuttle bus or driving to the parks. At 30 Euros a day, parking fees can add up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Center Parcs Les Villages Nature<\/mark> offers a good value option to be close to the parks. Like all Europe Center Parcs, it is really toddler friendly. The self-catering accommodation and excellent day activities makes it ideal to escape the Disney madness at an outstanding holiday park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have also stayed at Center Parcs Le Lac d’Ailette<\/a><\/mark> with a day trip to Disneyland Paris. This is a much more basic Center Parcs but it still has plenty for toddlers and much cheaper than Les Villages Nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And for an even cheaper option, there are several Eurocamps in close proximity to Disneyland Paris. We particularly enjoyed Le Chene Gris<\/mark> <\/a>for extreme value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best Disneyland Paris Hotels with toddlers<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Given the choice, I do enjoy staying on-site at Disneyland Paris; our trips tend to be 2-4 days long, so I want to make the most of being at Disney. The beautifully themed hotels continue the magic even when you are not in the parks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Staying on site also gives us the option of that much needed downtown, within easy access, when we need it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My favourite Disneyland Paris hotel for toddlers is always<\/em> the Cheyenne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Admittedly I have never stayed and, unless I start selling foot pics on OnlyFans, will never stay at the <\/em>Disneyland Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Disneyland Hotel<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I can imagine it is fantastic. Like I imagine sleeping with George Clooney being fantastic. But sometimes we just need to dream right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I did win the lottery and decide to spend it all <\/em>on one night at the Disneyland Hotel. I think I would resent it with toddlers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To me, it just seems like a basic \u2018Premier Inn\u2019 room (Sorry Lenny) with a few Disney touches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unless I am walking away with Gaston for the night, I just personally could not justify the cost; especially when there are so many viable and actually excellent Disney hotel alternatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are <\/em>a close relative of Elon Musk – a few benefits of staying in the Disneyland Hotel include: Extra Magic Time, a view of the fireworks and parades from your room (only from specific Castle Club rooms), <\/em>special character experiences, complimentary parking, easy access to the park, and Royal Kids Club (for 4 years and older).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a self-confessed Mouse cult follower, I sound really \u2018anti\u2019 Disneyland Hotel. I\u2019m not. I just don\u2019t see it being the best value\u2026 with toddlers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I do have friends that have stayed there and said it really was so convenient being so close to the park entrance. I can imagine this being a huge perk with tired toddlers to just pop back to the room so easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, they didn\u2019t rave about certain benefits such as the Club Level Private Lounge. This is a private lounge, for guests that have paid an extra expense on top of the already extortionate standard room, to view the fireworks and parades. In their opinion, it took away the magic of being within the atmosphere of the entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong. I really <\/em>want to stay here one day and hope I will. I just need to fix my bunion before earning that type of money from OnlyFans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

As a self-confessed Toy Story FANmily (I can patent that right?!) we really do love the Cheyenne Hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has everything <\/em>for a family with toddlers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
